Why another book on numerology?
Several thousands of years ago, one of the Three Sovereigns of China found a tortoise/turtle shell washed up on the banks of the Yellow River. On the back was a grid of nine numbers, which became known as the Lo Shu grid, and the basis of all Chinese Numerology.
However, astrologer Gillian Helfgott has taken the grid one step forward, interpreting the numbers in terms of their position on the turtle and, importantly, adding the 0, which has traditionally been ignored by numerologists.
With simple instructions and many fascinating case histories, including that of her husband David Helfgott, Gillian gives us a feel for the numbers, their strengths and challenges, and how we can use them in a practical and effective way to understand our lives.
This is a groundbreaking and highly entertaining work.
Gillian Helfgott was born in Melbourne in 1931. Studying with Doris Greaves, she obtained a Reinhold Diploma of Cosmobiology and became an Honorary Life Member of the Federation of Australian Astrologers. In 1984, Gillian married the international concert pianist David Helfgott, subject of the film Shine, and has managed his career since. In 1996, she wrote, with Alissa Tanskaya, The New York Times bestseller, Love You to Bits and Pieces: Life with David Helfgott. It has been translated into more than a dozen languages.
